What we collect
When you request an estimate we collect what you type: your name, phone number and/or email, ZIP code, the service you're interested in, your timeline and any message. If you used the deck cost calculator, the size, material, height and range you saw are included with the request.
We also record how you arrived at the site (for example a search ad's campaign tag) so we know which marketing works, and a one-way hash of your IP address for spam and rate limiting. We do not store your raw IP address with your request.
How we use it
Only to respond to your request, schedule a site visit, prepare an estimate and follow up on that project. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't add you to a marketing list without asking.
Who processes it
- Our hosting provider (Netlify), which stores submitted requests.
- Our customer-management system, which receives the request so our team can respond.
- An email delivery provider (Resend), if email notifications are enabled.
- Google Analytics, if enabled, which measures site visits using cookies. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking analytics cookies.
Retention and your choices
We keep estimate requests as long as needed for the project and our business records. You can ask us to correct or delete your information at any time.
